We have been to Cornwall many times but this has been the
best holiday ever! The house and location were perfect –
even the weather was fantastic. All the pubs were spot on

Wouldn’t hurt him to go and let his hair down a bit!!!!) The

much as they don’t want to go home. Hope to return soon.
Many thanks.

We came for a Wedding to join S & A. The weather was
super for their special day. We filled the house with
fun and laughter. Good food and drink and trips
thereafter. A fishing trip the chaps did make. But not a
fish leapt to their bait. So off to the trout farm we did
go. Where catching the fish was a lot less slow. After the
gutting and bloody mess. A washing machine would have been a
bless(ing) ! Never the less we loved Algoma’s bricks and
mortar.
And will return come hell or high water?

It is over 30 years since we first visited Cawsand and
Kingsand, when the children were about 6 and 8 years old.
Since then we have spent many happy weeks in August and
October half terms when we met up with an old school friend
and her family. Needless to say as the children grew up they
had other ideas for holidays, but we adults still came to
enjoy the delights of this area. Now, this year they are all
back – the children and their children. What fun it has been
to watch the grandchildren enjoying the same simple
pleasures their parents enjoyed – rock climbing,
investigating rock pools, collecting shells and “jewels”- a
new era – we will be back!!

My family has been visiting Kingsand for many years, each
time with me missing out due to the dull responsibilities of
work and humdrum. However, this year, I now enjoy the
trappings of self-employment and what an excellent choice I
made to take up my parent’s offer. This house is wonderful.
I began to relax the moment I arrived. The layout is
spacious (although I have bumped my head on the doorframes
times too numerous to mention) the house cannot be blamed
for my height. The number of bathrooms means no queues in
the mornings or evenings. My two nephews loved the fact that
they have their own “suite” at the rear of the house,
complete with their own flat-screened TV. The peaceful
location; its proximity to a great pub, allowing me to enjoy
a pint while cooking dinner is a must for any future
resident. The views each morning over breakfast; the walks
through the village – all very calming – just the ticket! I
look forward to a longer stay in the future. Two and a half
days is not enough. If I have any negatives to report it
would be the scurge of the motorcar. Where can one park
one’s car without having to catch a bus to where one left
it?
In conclusion:
The house – beautiful and spacious.
The proximity to all you need –
excellent.
The comfort of the rooms –
excellent.
I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

This home is perfect. At one point we had 13 people living

like the baby grand. I like the new telly and the bar. I
